Very modern and comfortable. Comfy beds. Good shower. Very quiet despite being above a pub and a lovely spot. Plenty of off road parking.

Lovely clean, fresh, modern room with plenty of towels and tea and coffee. The beds were very comfy, we slept really well. Everything was as good as it looked in the photos on booking.com. Friendly helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble. Great location for leaving the car parked up and getting the bus into Durham. Had a lovely fresh bacon and mushroom breakfast sandwich 😊

Very clean room .Staff were lovely and accommodating.We visited as we had a wedding at whitworth deer park which was only 9 mins drive away .Bed was very comfortable

They only offer breakfast baps prepared the night before. I didn’t want that, so didn’t have breakfast.

Stairs to room steep, to negotiate with a heavy backpack after eight miles…
