Very modern and very clean. Staff very friendly. About a 15-20 minute walk to football ground.

Stairs, nit suitable for disabled. Needs a stair lift.

Room was spotless and comfortable and the food served in pub was excellent the best mixed grill I have ever had and great value for money

Arrived at the accommodation and was unsure where to go. Went to bar area and a lovely lady from the bar took us to the separate annex. Very friendly and helpful. Stayed and had food and was quite surprised by the quality, quantity and price of the food. We made our food and drink order at the table and cannot state how good the burger and chips was. I had to leave some as the portion size was too large for me. Upset as I wanted to try a pudding. Accommodation was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Bathroom large with a powerful shower. I would stay here again if I was in the area and I would say that it is a good base for travelling in the local area. Beamish museum is not too far away (excellent day (s) out).

We found the beds where very comfortable and the room, en suite clean and tidy with complimentary toiletries, tea and coffee making facility. We didn't have the breakfast as it consisted of bacon, egg, etc on a bread roll.

Better choice for breakfast.
