Moonfleet Manor Hotel

Amazing from start to finish. Friendly welcome on arrival, shown around the hotel which was really helpful. Breakfast is fantastic, nothing is too much trouble, the staff are fantastic. The whole place is geared towards families with children of all ages, cinema time with free milk and cookies is a nice touch. The facilities are fantastic, met loads of other families enjoying special time together. We will definitely go back, highly recommend for a luxury family break.

Location, décor, facilities. Friendly staff. Amazing options for games and activities for the kids (and adults). Super comfy rooms. Very clean. Lovely breakfast buffet.

Minor: I would have liked a bit more seasoning in their cooked food.

Lovely view. Nice room. Very large bed. Children looked after really well. Staff very attentive.

The room next to mine had their fan running all night. The wall was so thin that it vibrated and the noise kept me awake every night.

Nyla and I loved our time at Moonfleet Manor! The pool and games room were definite highlights — we spent hours enjoying both. All of the staff were so lovely and helpful, making us feel really welcome throughout our stay. A wonderful family-friendly place that we can’t wait to visit again.

If I had to mention one small area for improvement, it would be the cleaning — a little more attention to detail would have made everything feel as spotless as the rest of the experience.

Loved the facilities, a pool, play barn and restaurant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming for children. Extra steps were taken to make children feel at home, comfortable high chairs, place cards at dinner with their names on, children’s cutlery and bowls etc.

We loved our first trip to Dorset as a family. We received a complimentary upgrade to our room which was lovely, the room was on the ground floor in the reception and that would have been the only thing that we would’ve changed. It was quite loud due to people talking outside our room and upstairs noise. But other than that, we loved it!

Staff were excellent - Room was lovely (couldn't be faulted) Swimming pool was lovely too. Very attractive lounge areas and dining room.

A few niggles (as you asked!) We went over to the pool with costumes and code but hadn't been told that you needed a pound coin to lock the locker - luckily my friend had her purse with her - it would have been rather annoying to have had to traipse back to our rooms for the coins. The loo roll holder was dreadful as the I kept knocking it off the end! Food choice for dinner wasn't enough really - we thought it expensive . As adults we would have liked a bar lounge .
