Superb location if you love scenery and calm quiet surroundings. Country house vibe. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent

Nothing, isolated yes but that's why you book it...

Beautiful peaceful location, although the hotel is geared up for families, the children have a kids club and a play barn together with numerous outdoor activities. There are two indoor heated pools and a spa area. Therefore the hotel remains peaceful . The service is quietly very efficient , welcoming and friendly. Dogs are also welcome and have their own shower complete with a stack of fresh towels. There are coastal paths to walk from the hotels garden. Outside the restaurant is a terrace for outdoor meals. Quite a find would love to go back .

Everything. Nothing not to like here. Even fabulous weather! Rooms are great. This time had room in cottage by main house and perfect. Own patio to work and enjoy sun - amazing view looking out on the Fleet. Bed super comfy. Everything spotlessly clean. Decent coffee maker in room. All you need - blanket, chairs, outside chairs, robes and slippers, high quality bath products, desk, small fridge, fab reading lights on each side of bed, fan in room …. Food delicious. Every time. Staff fabulous - friendly, helpful, hard working, welcoming - go out of their way to take care of guests. Also lovely people - not a big turnover which is unusual for hospitality - whoever recruits is getting it right !! Location - beyond lovely. Facilities - so many - I really mean it. It’s a small hotel which punches its weight. Tennis courts, squash, snooker, skittles alley, swimming pool, games room - football area, kids climbing wall, tramperttes, table tennis, football table, indoor arcade games (so much fun), gaming area (very cool), lounge area (lovely) , small kids area - cinema room, escape room, science room - then lots of extra activities for kids. Am sure I’ve missed many too…! Hotel also fab - theee cosy large lounges, open fires, indoor / outdoor seating areas, spa area (massages are excellent.l) etc A final favourite thing - walking down garden to sit at waters edge. The feeling - imagine someone has just put a blanket of balm over you. It’s magical.
