Disappointing Stay Due to Poor Communication and Inadequate Standards I received an email inviting me to complete a pre-check-in process, which is fairly standard nowadays. However, at no point was it made clear that failing to complete this step would prevent me from accessing the property entirely. I would have expected a follow-up reminder or clearer instructions if this were the case. Upon arrival, I discovered there was no reception desk. A passerby informed me that I should have received a phone number after completing the pre-check-in. I had to fill in the form on the spot and make several calls before I could gain entry. I was placed on hold, promised a call back that never came, and had to follow up multiple times. The entire process took 90 minutes and significantly impacted my stay. The allocated parking space was a considerable distance from the flat, and it was already occupied when I arrived. Once inside the apartment, I found it uncomfortably hot, even with all the windows open and the fan running. Cleanliness also fell short. There was visible fluff on the floors, a beer bottle cap on the bedroom carpet, and the en-suite had not been restocked with toilet paper or shower gel. Overall, this was a frustrating and disappointing experience. If the property is listed as a hotel or apart-hotel on booking platforms, it needs to reflect hotel-level standards. If I had been from overseas I would not have been able to call the number.

The freshness of the flat. 2 shower rooms was good.

Could not lock the door from the inside. We have a daughter with learning difficulties and at night on one occasion tried to get out. So at night we had to barricade the door with a heavy chair and the handle of the brush. Perhaps look at ways to be able to lock the doors from the inside? No dust pan and wee brush to put the crumps in the bin. Had to use a sheet of paper. Perhaps provide bog roll (only a small/minor point). Otherwise all good.

I expect a bed and there were tons come with. You got huge fridge, microwave and oven, all utensils, kettle and more! You also got Tesco and Lidl near by which could save a lot of expense!

Lovely apartment, great space and very secure building

The booking and pre-arrival check in was really laborious and overly complicated. I had to contact the customer help services 3 times to sort it out. I also made a special request for a cot and fan as travelling with baby and neither were in the room. I rang customer services upon arrival and they said they would deliver them shortly. They never arrived.

Good location

We paid for early check in that was denied after arriving to the property and having to call them ourselves. Charmaine allowed us to collect the keys which was helpful but we had to leave our bags in the car as the apartment still wasn't ready. The bedding wasn't fresh or clean. The apartment wasn't hoovered. There was one used toilet roll between 2 bathrooms and no spare around the apartment.
