"Great location, basic but functional rooms."

Excellent location. Lucca is much nicer than Pisa. The host is wonderful! Nice tall ceilings, cool enough in the evenings. The room was small but fine for a short stay.

Ventilation in the bathroom was a slight issue. But the water pressure was brilliant and it was very clean.

On hot summer days (+35), my room (ground floor, windows to the small inner courtyard) was cool even without an air conditioner. What a great feature! I enjoyed that there was a kettle in the common area, and I could make some tea. I absolutely did not expect this, but Mirko made my bed every day. Mirko is a great host, be sure to ask him for recommendations and just have a chat!
