Beachside Retreat 2-Bedroom Gem with FREE Private Parking & Outdoor Space

Location and parking good. Easy key collection at property, spacious.

Noise level appalling from adjacent property until gone midnight, builders 7.15 am start with breaking walls in another adjacent property. TV not working, 2 calls to owner for advice, messages left no response. Needed curtains as bedrooms too bright even with blinds, living room only net curtains and overlooked.

Location and secure parking.

The bed was one of the most uncomfortable we have ever slept in. The back door handle is falling off . The rooms felt like student accommodation. Cheap plastic plants everywhere. Not even a bottle of milk or loaf of bread as a welcome. Soulless and unwelcoming.

The location in terms of being close to the beach and town centre was great. The area itself unfortunately is like a lot of area in Brighton now, tired, unkempt and in need of some tlc from the council and residents

The property felt very much like Uni student accommodation. The outside area was untidy, lots of weeds and in need of a good tidy up to make it a more pleasant place to sit. The kitchen and bathrooms are in need of renovation and redecoration. The shower cubicle is ridiculously small for the size of the bathroom and the painted tiles are pealing.

Bright and spacious, great facilities and comfy beds. Nice to have an outside area.free parking was a great bonus. It was good to have fans left for us to use as it was warm. Good central location for walking into town or beach.

Very noisy neighbours partying till at least until 2.30 am each night . shame the owner didn't respond to my message about the noise. The shower had paint peeling off the walls, so I didn't feel comfortable using it. Bedrooms very bright due to blinds only- bring a sleep mask! Grubby in places, I.e. bathroom and downstairs loo. Poor noise insulation.

Location great added bonus was the parking

Beautiful, modern decor in a central location next to the Lion & Lobster pub. It is great to have free, secure parking and an outdoor space to make the most of any sun!

Location is absolutely amazing, Mat is also very helpful and welcoming. The property is huge and able to accommodate up to 8 people, the rooms are a really good size and beds are very spacious

Only suggestion is for more bath/shower matts and towels, else everything was just great.

The property was very comfortable and clean. The decor was very modern and had all the facilities needed.

The shower was tiny and we found the beds very hard.

The kitchen and the convenience of the property’s location for what we were doing in Brighton

The bathroom (the shower cubicle was the tiniest we’d ever seen); bedroom 3 where the wardrobe doors were falling off their runners; both beds had very firm memory foam mattresses which remembered the shape of people with very different shapes from our own; the overall ‘tiredness’ of the property - loose handles, chipped paintwork, stained mattress protector, scorched stair carpet etc; the noise in the area even though it was supposed to be a quiet zone between 10pm and 8am and just 2 hand towels provided per couple - no bath towels.
