Breakfast was great. Well cooked and hot. I do like a good breakfast. Coffee was also good as was the toast

Chris & Julie were excellent, attentive hosts. The room was clean and tidy. The breakfast was excellent. The location was perfect for visiting the coast. Although there is no dedicated parking, we were able to park for free on the street in front of the building with no fuss.

Chris and Julie were excellent hosts -very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. They clearly take great pride in the Southgate, which was spotlessly clean and they had considered all the little details that guests might want. The location was great with easy parking, local pubs, shops and a brilliant deli next door. It was very handy for us to be able to visit family staying locally. Delicious breakfast too! Thanks Chris and Julie - hopefully we'll be back!
