We had a great breakfast there and the host is absolutely nice. We could even do our laundry for a small fee. The rooms are modern and clean. Very good A/C

It was a bit hard to find as it isn’t in city center BUT our host helped us with some arrows on the streets. There were some insects in the drain/bathroom which is not uncommon in Sri Lanka.

This homestay was honestly 10/10 perfect! Beautiful big rooms, extremely comfortable beds, lovely atmosphere and garden. You are greeted by the warmest family and we were lucky enough to spend the afternoon with their eldest son and friends at a special place in the village. We had dinner there at night prepared by Sudesh’s wife and wow! We ate like kings! Some of the best food in Sri Lanka. This was the end of our trip and we would love to say a huge thank you to Sudesh and his family for hosting us, it was very special. We did the cooking class as well and I can’t recommend it enough. Sudesh organised transport for us as well which was amazing. All up this place can’t be faulted, THANKYOU!

Beautiful property, excellent breakfast

Very nice house with beautiful little garden. The room is furnished with great taste, the garden is full of flowers. The family is super nice and friendly, they treated my daughter as their own. They also organize cooking classes, which I absolutely recommend: it is taking place in an authentic kitchen with traditional utensilies, and is the owner's mom who teaches you about spices, local vegetables, and how to cook some very tasty Sri Lankan meal. She is great! Breakfast is an amazing selection of local dishes, and it's plenty. Our host was also very nice, ready to help with anything, explaining about culture and what to see in Kandy. He helped with our laundry, organized for us tuktuk to the citiy, and took us to the train station when we were leaving. The whole family was very nice and attentive to our every need. The location is outside of Kandy, a bit far from the center, but because of this it is very quiet, and it's surrounded by nature. I highly recommend it! Even if you don't stay here, try the cooking class!

Everything was good.

Sedush and his family are kind, honest and caring people who do their best to make you feel comfortable and have a wonderful experience. Their home and two rooms are outside the main busy city, with a lovely garden. We’re glad we stayed for one night before doing the market tour and incredible cooking school with his mother.

Phenomenal dinner and breakfast. Very beautiful and calm surroundings, the little houses are in excellent shape and the garden is peaceful. Owners are very friendly.

This guesthouse is an absolute gem. My room was very clean, beautifully decorated, and had a lovely private outdoor seating area. Breakfasts were a feast! Delicious Sri Lankan dishes kept appearing on the table, and any other time of the day the family kept offering me some tea. One of the highlights of my stay was the cooking class with Sudesh’s mom. I heard great things about in the reviews and I'm so glad I decided to do it as well. It was a great experience and everything we cooked was absolutely delicious! The location, while a little off the beaten track, offers stunning views of the surrounding countryside. While getting an Uber or PickMe can sometimes be a bit tricky due to its more remote location, the family arranged transportation for me whenever needed. What truly sets this guesthouse apart is the incredible family who runs it. They were all simply amazing, going above and beyond to ensure my stay was perfect. I honestly can't recommend this guesthouse enough. It's the perfect place to experience true Sri Lankan hospitality, enjoy delicious food, and immerse yourself in the beauty of the Kandy region.

Each meal was a delightful culinary journey, full of authentic flavors and prepared with so much care. The rooms were cozy and comfortable, providing the perfect retreat after a day of exploring. Everything was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully arranged, making my stay even more enjoyable. Overall, I absolutely loved my time here and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a welcoming, home-like atmosphere with exceptional service and fantastic food.
