Clean/comfortable apartment and very well located

One would expect a few cubes of sugar, some salt n pepper, a few tea bags or coffee, and some water to get you going. No shower gel or shampoo either. All of it doesn't cost much. Checking in is very restricted to timings, though Gerrit was very good.

The advert did not make it clear that although it is in the Capital Pearls Hotel, it is privately owned. No basic necessities put in the apartment. Toaster didn't work. One small bar of hand soap - that was all. Not even some tea/coffee. Wifi kept dropping connection. Only two small towels given and no swimming towels. Did get more when I complained but was told this is a 'self catering apartment' to any query - as if this lack of service is normal. It is not. Have stayed in many self catering places where all basic necessities are provided. Biometrics needed to enter the building and floors. Biometrics didn't work resulting in huge inconvenience reentering the building. Could have got the same or bigger room as advertised by the hotel on booking.com at the same price with all necessities provided in the room and without the aggravation.
