The food and staff are exceptional.

Some of the older rooms need updating but they're perfectly functional and the beds are incredibly comfortable.

The room was lovely, plenty of pool areas to choose from. Quality of food was very good in all restaurants

We were constantly being 'sold' to during our stay with staff trying to make you sign up for memberships or other similar aspects. Calls would be received in the room every morning, which usually woke us up. We were never just left alone in order to enjoy our holiday. Additionally even though there are beaches, the water quality is poor, and during our time here, the entire beach had red flags meaning you couldn't enter the water. Although it is all inclusive you can only really eat at certain times. There are very few 24 hour options outside of room service.

There is no proper beach where you could walk on the sand. The property is too large and the restaurants are too far apart.

The staff was very nice. The food & drinks were okay. The cirque du soleil style show was very impressive. That's about all the nice things I have to say.

NO. HOT. WATER. We were there for 4 nights and had no hot water. We called repeatedly about this & were eventually told that we'd have to call maintenance to do some reset or something anytime we wanted to take a shower. Not acceptable. We then found out that the hotel KNEW our rooms had no hot water but put us in these rooms anyway without any notification or remedy. The hotel was NOT even close to sold out and they could've put us somewhere else if they really cared about the comfort of our stay. For the record, our friends' casitas had ample hot water. The spa was also overpriced but the people were nice & the services were just okay.

The staff were very helpful and warm. The casita pool bar was fantastic and the beachside beds/cabanas were so relaxing and comfortable. Plus, the massage was wonderful - and the spa staff were very accommodating, as they could only get us in for last minute appointments close to closing due to our schedule. They stayed late and didn’t rush us.

The only negative of the trip was we couldn’t book excursions in advance and once we arrived, it was backed up to even meet with the Lomas coordinator which took a time away from relaxation and activities on our short trip.

Our bartender at the swim up bar the first day was amazing.

All the other service e had was terrible, we were asked to leave a bar because the bartender wanted to leave 3 hours early. The restaurants were not the best and the Mexican restaurant was the worse food I have ever had.

Infelizmente nao é possível utilizar a praia. Impossivel banho de mar. Ha poucos lugares de refeição fazendo com que o hospede ande muito pelo hotel. Ha carrinhos de transporte porem o mesmo demora demais para passar. Tem nuitos bares para pegar bebidas mas para comidas nao. Nem todos os funcionários sao cordiais. So sao gentis se vc da gorgeta.

As positive points, I would like to highlight the good service provided by the restaurant staff, who were always polite and helpful, as well as the quality of the food, which was very good and ended up being one of the few positive aspects of the stay.

Unfortunately, our experience was far below the standard and value charged by this hotel. We experienced the disappearance of items from our room, a very serious situation that caused significant inconvenience and was not satisfactorily clarified by the hotel management, despite the actions taken. The way the case was handled left important inconsistencies unanswered and completely compromised our sense of security during the stay. In addition, the concierge service was very poor from the beginning. We received little to no guidance regarding the hotel’s facilities and services, including basic information about the pool, the beach, restaurant reservations, and the membership plan, which was poorly presented and insufficiently explained. The guest app — an essential tool for reservations and hotel information — was only discovered on our second-to-last day, through other guests, and not through the hotel staff. Considering all of the above, the experience delivered was far below what is expected from a hotel of this level. I do not recommend staying at this hotel, given the issues described and how they were handled.

Location

So many things have changed and not for the better. No cleaning of beaches, food was not as good as last visit and prices have dramatically gone up. Seems like they are catering to the young drinking crowd now.
