The food was excellent staff were friendly and my room was always cleaned

Property is great and some of the staff within the hotel are incredible. Front desk has not helped and they have double charged my credit card resulting in fees and interest charges.

We liked the privacy of the Casitas. I like being able to make dinner reservations on the website.

We have been to the Royale before and we feel that the quality of the food, drinks, has dropped. Our bartender was not as good or attentive as other bartenders we have had in the past. We requested different room service items and did not receive them.

The breakfast was a really good spread and open till 12pm and the ocean views fabulous. The Asian restaurant was a welcome change and food decent.

1. The staff were rude especially at the restaurants. Even if it was a table for 4 - if 3 people sat down and 1 came in a bit late - they would get annoyed and tell us off. 2. Room service which is supposed to be 24x7 - took 2 hours for food to arrive ! The food was cold and inedible. Worst club sandwich and burger 3. We came for a wedding - it was shocking that the food got over in 20 mins and when we asked for it to be replenished, the staff barked back at us.

The location was perfect.

IT was difficult to eat after 6 p m. the restaurants that were open most of them you needed reservation.

Excellent food, several options. (The pizzas hit the spot!) There were so many swimming pools that people could spread out and they weren’t over crowded. Our rooms were big, clean & very nice.

Our room concierge was never there to be found anytime I looked.

Grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Room was large and clean. Staff was friendly and professional.

Smell of raw sewage near spa area. Very loud music around 9 pm every night. Food could be better. High pressure salesmen at departure. Room shower and bath water was warm but never hot.
