GBGood location, rooms weren’t always as advertised but they were cosy and had most things you’d need. For its location, there is lots to do and quiet building.
Despite the building being quiet, the windows are quite old. Our experience with all rooms we have stayed in has been during a poor session of weather. Whether the window is closed or open, it rattles with the wind because there is a lot of spacing. The doors have a small potion underneath which lets in noise and light, and also a draft. I understand it’s probably due to the carpet but definitely a pain. The last room had been advertised as having a TV- our experience with the TV situation in his bnb is that you may get one; just it may be very small and quite far away so trying to watch from bed was quite difficult.

Toilets were dirty , noone greeted us when we arrived, trying get in front door and found it funny.Wouldnt cme here again.

Whole property very run down . Locks and key boxes hard to use. Torn curtains in bedroom which could easily be replaced.

GBWe always choose the White Anchor when we're staying in Hastings, the room is gorgeous (5 is always our choice and fave ♡) and it's in such a perfect location!!!
SEIt was very central, and the fact that it had a kitchen where you could save some money cooking was great.
