GBI couldn’t get access to the property as the Key safe wouldn’t open, I called the phone number a of times but no answer, I had no option only to book a different hotel that evening

Key wasn’t left for me so tried calling the number and it rung 3 times then went to voicemail 3 times. So had to find a cleaner to get it for me. The place smells bad it’s filthy and when I finally got into my room that was just as dirty as the rest of the place and stunk, was boiling in there and the window didn’t stay open so couldn’t even air it out. I just took my stuff and left. Wasn’t going to sleep in them conditions. Also bathroom door locks not working
GBthe convenience of the location was very close to iconic destinations and food restaurants.
the lack of items in our rooms for instance, tissues, tins for sugar and tea (our sugar and tea were merged together) and the constant clogging of the toilets. the front door only had one key and when the key goes missing it would lock the residents outside. please give residents a spare key.
GBManagement was very flexible and instantly helped with the chages requested which i believe made huge difference to our stay. Good rooms and other shared facilities.

GBI liked the convienience and how easy it was to get around to all local attractions and local shop for neccessities.
The beds were uncomfortable and painful to sleep on. The toilets had no toilet rolls and there were none nearby to refill either. Shower had poor pressure and was not pleasant to use. No beverages or chocolates in room as stated.
GBLocation wise it was perfect. Close to the seafront, the bars and shops. Can’t fault the location
Apart from the location, nothing else really. Dirty and torn curtains, although it did block out the sunlight at night. Shared bathroom with other guests. The toilet was broken in the bathroom which lead to all guests using the only other toilet available on the landing. I found this set up a bit freaky and didn’t make me feel safe at all. The lock on the room could have been broken into so easily. This is a hostel.
