It was cheap, location was great if you’re staying for leisure

Honestly the flippin key safe codes and key system was sadist man, perhaps people find it “quirky” I dunno, it did my head in, the owner definitely been watching too much krypton factor & crystal maze like. I was also over the moon with the shared facilities, broken toilet on my landing and water pressure after at 12 hour work day 👍🏻 No, I’m just being facetious, probably I was grumpy after a long day, it is what is in terms of the cost and won’t get a better location if you’re out having jolly. A few bits need repairing

It is convenient. 15 mins to the main station, and lots of shops are nearby. The staff is helpful either.

Facilities are too old. Firstly it is super hard to open the main gate. I try quite a few times every time. The water pressure is too weak. Very cold in November. No hair dryer is provided inside the room / bathroom either.

We had to go to hastings for a family party we dont normally go out but it had been a year so we decided to stay over here for the night . Had a lovely time till 2 Albanias started out side the hotel wen arrived and we didnt think much but ended up being verbally attack and then they kick off fighting and we had to defend our self's i now have to have a nose job and scar's all over ... ended up finding out this is a known as a drug den n all of the old town want this place gone due to the drugs n the violence that gose on here . The place smells its disgusting n we were even trying to find a family member befor all this to put us up for the night wish we had gone with our gut feeling... didnt even ger to stay just put our bags in and get ready... the locks r not even lockable on rooms so put our valuable in our car . Plz do not say her it has effect my whole life n my nose and police did nothing which will be catching them up about ...

I stayed at The White Anchor in Hastings and had an absolutely awful experience. During the night, a violent fight broke out in the building — people were kicking in doors and it was genuinely terrifying. I had to call the police because I felt unsafe in my own room. It’s completely unacceptable that guests are put in this situation. After speaking with others, I’ve since heard that there are known issues with drug users and troublemakers staying there, and honestly, this place should be shut down for everyone’s safety. This all happened at 1:30am. Do not stay here — it’s unsafe, poorly managed, and nothing like what’s advertised. I want a full refund.
