Clean bed and bathroom. Good security. Close to beach and cafes.

Apart from checking in I did not see a single staff member.

some of the pillows smell sour more likely has not been washed, given that theres a big doubt about how the beddings are being cleaned in a regular basis

I was electrocuted by the plug my electric went off all night I had nothing. The door wouldn’t lock I want a full refund

The only thing this place has going for it is the location. The fact it was available at short notice (the only reason we ended up here was because our accommodation for the weekend was cancelled with less than 24 hours notice and this was the only place available around the same price point)

Check in: Details not provided in advance - had to ring / chase for details when we were ready to check in Rooms: Was initially put in a room with grubby/damp carpets, a connecting door with tissue paper stuffed into the keyhole, very old/worn out furniture. I was honestly ready to forego the £200 we'd prepaid and find anything else even if it meant another town. Later moved and marginally better and decided we could suck it up as we weren't going to be in the room much. Cleanliness: on the face of it most things were clean but there was no attention to detail - lots of windowsills/corners often to rooms/bathrooms were very dusty Bathrooms: only 1 of the bathrooms had a door that would close. One of shower fittings wasn't right for the head so had to hold shower head to shower. In other bathroom I had to stand holding the door shut so my husband could shower. Also nothing to dry your hands on in the bathrooms. The place in general is falling to bits - if owners would just put some TLC into the place it could be lovely. I expected a lot more for the £100 per night charged and also based on the pictures. At most it deserves £40 per night - it's honestly like a bad student flat share.

short bed, light switch outside of bedroom door, tired decor.

Good location on the edge of old town with sea view. Late check-in and check out is very handy for spontaneous travel. Shared kitchen available which had laundry facility. Very clean.

Water pressure in shared bathroom terrible. Not much toilet paper put out. Mattress had a bit of a crater from age. There were two windows which allowed a nice breeze, but it is very central and so was quite noisy, so a fan would have been nice.

When I turned up the code I was given was not for the entrance. The contact phone number given went after 3 rings to off. Spent my time over the road watching the door to gain access. Lack of toilet paper. Kitchen area draped with wet washing. Had a feeling my co guests may have asylum seekers. Sad thing properly run the place has potential.
