Good location strange to have to use next door for breakfast

Shower was dirty and breakfast was good but coffee machine did not have milk for capuchino coffee

The Board Inn appears to be a part of the pub next door that offers a 20% discount on food if you dine there. I had the pie and mash and the pie was probably worth the visit alone. Very friendly locals created a relaxed atmosphere even with the England world cup on TV in the bar. The accommodation was clean and comfortable and good value for the price.

If I'm being picky there was no soap in the shower dispenser. I'm sure they would have replenished it had we asked though.

The location was great in the centre of Hawes

Room was very basic. The bathroom sink was in the bedroom which meant washing your hands or doing your teeth in the bedroom. Shower rooms needs some attention and toilet was loose when you sat on it.

Bang in the centre of town. Excellent breakfast. Pleasant, attentive staff.

Excellent location, value for money and a good breakfast, all in all a good place to stay. I had a warm welcome when I arrived. I stayed on a Monday night so had to be aware of the market on the Tuesday morning but it didn't disturb me. There was adequate parking almost opposite the Inn and plenty of places for an evening meal.

My room had an ensuite that was a little way down the hallway, made things a bit inconvenient for getting up in the night. Some of the fixtures and fittings are old and worn but to be expected in an old building.

Ontvangst, onduidelijkheid over badkamer, die achter een klemmende deur bleek te zitten! Ontbreken van basisvoorzieningen als zeepjes, glazen etc. Via een deur, die niet op slot zat, kon je naar de ‘buurman’.
