The Blue Bell Inn

We absolutely loved The Blue Bell Inn. The very kind welcome from Charlotte and all the staff were friendly and nothing was a problem. We got the impression that all staff were prepared to go the extra mile from getting us an extra fan the first night because that room didn’t have any guests staying. The food was absolutely delicious and I loved the curry sauce, in fact I did ask twice for the recipe but it wasn’t forthcoming 🤣 The location is spot on accept for one thing which is the parking, it would be even more perfect if the Inn had a couple of spaces for hotel guests.

There isn’t anything we didn’t like about the property, it was just extremely unfortunate that the heat was intense and the humidity was unbearable and sadly we had to give our 2nd fan up to other guests on our 2nd night which is completely understandable and fair.

Situated in the heart of Emsworth, a warm welcome from the staff and directions to the room, outside and along the side passage. We had supper at the pub which was delicous, and the room rate included breakfast, anything from the menu, so reasonable value for money.

I know its only a small thing, but there was tea and coffee facilities in the room which was lovely, but only very small coffeee cups which are really not good for tea, how about a couple of mugs too?

All food (Dinner & Breakfast) were really great quality and the staff were very friendly & welcoming.

Very good food and beer in the pub downstairs (awesome breakfast!). Extra points for the room decor, which was very thoughtfully done.

Great stay. Proper pub.staff brilliant. Nice village and sea front.

Only thing was very minor. Noisy drinkers outside because the weather was hot. But very quiet after 11 ish.9

This was as good value stay. The staff are really friendly, the location is excellent and the food was magnificent too. Any requests made was willingly and quickly attended to and by the end of our stay we felt more like friends than customers.

The only problem with the rooms is lack of drawer space and hanging facilities so we would not recommend for more than say a 2 night stay. Having said that, we were provided with a temporary hanging rail when we commented.

A little noisy but this was to be expected given room was adjacent to the inn. The toilet seat wasn’t very secure - it moved to the side when I sat on it!!

There wasn't alot of space to store clothes ( just coat hooks ) in my room it would have been possible to replace the chair with a slim chest of drawers Cooked breakfast doesn't start until 9am - bit late for me

Fabulous place to stay, Friendly, welcoming staff and food was top notch
