The Co-Op Barn was comfortable, clean and conveniently located in the village of Brassington. The bed was comfortable, the sitting room was thoughtfully designed, with plenty of room to relax and the kitchen had everything we needed. The design touches were delightful - you’d have to visit yourself to really appreciate the clever charm. Having an enormous bath to relax in after a long hike was a real touch of luxury too. A great pub is just a walk down the road, with a friendly welcome and delicious food. The barn was easy to find and a great base for exploring the Peaks. We loved it.

Lovely Quirky cottage

The old co-op barn is quirky and beautiful. Full of rustic charm coupled with comfort and practical too. We absolutely loved all the individual touches and the roll top bath is divine!

Beautiful property and surrounding area. It definitely had the wow factor with all its quirky features. Very cosy and we had everything we needed. Everyone (including a fussy teenager) throughly enjoyed our stay here.

Only a few very minor issues - * Towels could have been bigger. * Didn’t like the gap in the sliding doors for the bathrooms. * Wi-Fi didn’t quite reach the garden. Perhaps should be moved to the middle of the property?

Alles! Heel leuk huisje, met veel liefde ingericht en gedecoreerd. Heerlijke bedden, hond vriendelijk en een zeer goed uitgeruste keuken. De host, Lucy, was heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Gelegen in een pittoresk dorpje met een gezellige pub waar je ook heerlijk kan eten ( the Old gate). Op 10 minuten rijden een supermarkt. Mooie wandelroutes die starten van het huisje.
