The Old Coop Barn

Very rustic and extremely quirky, comfortable clean and everything there necessary for a pleasant stay

A little unsuitable for my dog as the wall was very low in to next doors garden who had rabbits so couldn’t use the garden unfortunately

It was a cute, comfortable little cottage. The bed was comfy and the bath was great for easing those aching legs after walking.

Beautiful, charming cottage in an idillic village setting. Self check in was perfect for us. Spotlessly clean, everything you need for a comfortable stay. Stunning local walks from the doorstep and a stones through from the peak district.

Fantastic place to stay. Lovely location. Owner provided everything we needed and more. We used it as a base to visit alton towers which is a 30 minute drive away. Couldn't fault the place, I would recommend it every time

A unique building imaginatively decorated in a lovely village Lucy the owner was very friendly was on hand if needed but kept a low profile The Old Co op is in an ideal location to explore Ilam Tissington and Carsington Water I would highly recommend this place

My only small criticism would be that the 2 downstairs single beds were not very comfortable but because we had an active time walking cycling etc we slept quite well

The house looked beautiful, and I liked all the quirky characteristics added. The kitchen was fully stocked, beds comfortable, large bath and shower. On suite in both bedrooms, garden to sit in and it was all lovely and clean. Loved our welcome pack so an extra thanks for that.

Bit tricky to find but that was a minor thing.
