Location, personal care and food.

Water villa a bit old. Noticeable damage.

The island is beautiful—neither too small nor too big. The water is crystal clear, and the sand is almost pure white. When trash or sargassum appeared, it was promptly cleaned up. The food at breakfast and dinner offered plenty of variety, so we never got bored. The lunch menu was also adequate for room service, and you could order pizza or burgers at lunchtime or visit the buffet. We went on an excursion to watch whales, which was fantastic. Props to the tour organizers! We also used the kids' club, where the staff were friendly and engaging with the children. Babysitting services were available for approximately $35 per hour per child. We stayed in a sunrise villa with a pool, which was spacious enough for a family of four. The villa was cleaned thoroughly every day, so kudos to the housekeeping staff. The AC worked well, allowing us to sleep comfortably in a cool 20°C, even when it was 30°C outside. Lastly, the staff spoke good English and were very friendly, which made our stay enjoyable. There's also a clinic on the island stocked with plenty of medications, should you need anything.

On Booking.com, it was advertised that stays of four or more nights would include complimentary flights. However, after booking, we discovered that we had to pay for them separately, which cost around $1,300 for a family of four. We opted for the half-board plan, but none of the drinks were included, which led to high extra costs. For example, a simple apple juice was $12, a cappuccino was $15, and a Coca-Cola Light was $12 (with tax and tips included). This adds up quickly if you want drinks with your dinner. Perhaps drinks are included with the full-board plan, but I’m not sure. No branded bottled water was offered. Although their own water seemed clean, it had a slightly odd taste. Lastly, the gym was outdated and deteriorating. Experienced lifters might find creative ways to work out, but beginners would likely struggle due to the limited equipment, which appeared to be over eight years old. There was also a large football court in the middle of the island, but it was in poor condition.

Staff were amazing. Food was great - breakfast, lunch and dinner. Coral was a little disappointing in places but we saw octopus, dolphins and turtles while snorkeling.

The location of the hotel is great, the island is easy to get to but at the same time felt remote and very quiet. Snorkelling was amazing, and the house reef is in very good condition. What stood out the most is the hospitality of the staff, which made our stay there truly exceptional. Would definitely come back to visit again.
