Muthu is the recommended place to stay if you come to the main Mara Park Service is amazing, special thanks to the outstanding attention from Judy, but all of the staff is great The hotel has a Hippo-Pool and Bar that is much better than advertised, here you can come to wind down with a nice cold local beer after a safari game drive, as the sun goes down Hippos become more active. The hotel is not fenced first night we saw a buffalo in the property, close to the room (1239). Sunsets from the patio look amazing, also there is a bonfire every night where you can just enjoy or talk to other guests

This is not related to the hotel, but important information for anyone planning a Safari trip, park fee is paid at the gate and cost in 2024 is USD 100 per person per night in low season, (200 in high season) also in the main park game driving rules are very strict, driver cannot go of the road as you can in conservacies where you can get much closer to the animals

Very friendly staff that could not be more helpful. Luxury hotel in the middle of the Maasai Mara. Hippo pool is amazing. The food was delicious and plentiful.

The property is located very close to the Keekorok Airstrip which makes it easily accessible. The property is well maintained and feels like you’re staying in the Wilderness very close to the Mara. Staff is amazing. Special shout out to Mr. Manish who helped us greatly and made our stay a memorable one.
