Brambles, Ebford, Devon

There were a lot of spiders, and the place seemed a bit dusty, so we had to hoover everywhere. The kettle was also covered in limescale, and it was black so hadn't been cleaned for a long time, One thing to add was that the front door and garden door had no inside locks, I'm not sure it's because the area has low crime rate but still I was expecting there to be abit more security.

This was a lovely, comfortable place to stay for our visit to Crealy Adventure Park with our grandchildren. We were made to feel very welcome. Everything that we needed was here. Also we were provided with a lot of useful information about the local area.

Właścicielka bardzo miła i pomocna - mieszka obok. Pokoje wyposażone podstawowo, ale wystarczająco. Nie jest super nowocześnie, ale czysto. Blisko autem do plaż oraz wrzosowisk - park narodowy blisko. My dojechaliśmy nawet do Kornwali. Parking przed domem. Polecam.

Jednego ranka nie było cieplej wody, ale właścicielka szybko to ogarnęła.

Fab place to stay... a real home from home plus an incredibly comfortable bed, super shower and great facilities. Olivia is an excellent host.

Location was good for Westpoint/Exmouth/Exeter

Upstairs Shower/toilet... We did not use-cramped. Air-fryer needs cleaning! Microwave we did not use but may need replacing. Stairs/steps maybe difficult for those with mobility issues... Being an asthmatic the 'air Fresheners' were too powerful for me personally, we decided to put them outside then replace in the property when we left.

Plenty of room

We enjoyed the seclusion of Brambles. The facilities were very good. We loved the quirky tea rooms that were opposite the lane to the property. It helped that the host suggested we exit via the other end of the lane which led to traffic lights, making joining the main road easier.

The lane leading to Brambles could have been hard to negotiate in wet weather, as we imagine it could get muddy. There are many levels inside, so it may not suit people with poor mobility, or sight issues.

The amount of space is amazing, we are a family of 3 and didn't feel cramped or a shortage of usable space. My daughter loved it and having two bathrooms is an absolute bonus! The showers are amazing and the bed is super comfy! The host are brilliant and very informative about your stay and things to do locally, lovely personal touch. It is like a home away from home. Also the living room is great and the guest netflix is a lovely touch! Especially if you fancy a movie night with the family, like we did. This is an amazing place, we have loved it. Lots of local pubs as well, so you are spoiled for choice. The cuppa cabin is a definite must visit if you stay here.
