"Lovely base for a stay in Ambleside."

The accommodation was great for what we needed. It was clean with a lovely bathroom and towels.

We originally booked an apartment with a kitchen but the property was sold before our stay. We were offered this accommodation at short notice which we gratefully took. But there was no kitchen. Just putting this comment to let people know that there was no kitchen.

The place was well equipped and was very clean. The location was fantastic and close to town.

It wasn’t very easy to find the place. If they provided the name the Fisherbeck from the beginning it would be much easier to find the place. It’s also advertised as a private kitchen but we didn’t have a kitchen - not sure if that was due to what we booked. Bed also had a feather duvet which was very warm for the summer
