Clean facilities but lacking in cooking utensils and only one pot.

Blind chain was worn and snapped as we were leaving but host accused us of intentionally cutting it and more and tried to charge us $350 for something that should have been a simple repair and was due to wear and tear or poor quality materials. Also we bought measuring cups/spoons that we needed and left to help stock their bare cupboards which I pointed out after the accusation. The host responded that she threw them out and that we weren't allowed to bake in the kitchen! Also our flight was late which we passed on but in the end were only 15 minutes later than indicated in the booking but could not find host to get access fob on arrival. Definitely black listing this one.

We could not get the keys, For two hours we tried to get in. No one nswered the phone

after 2hrs of not being able to access the appartment we booked smewhre else and contacted booking.com and the woman owner is challenging our refund!!

The property is really well located, parking buildings were close by which made it easily accessible. Really clean and spacious which was nice.

The lack of air ventilation. There is only a switch that says fan but was so hot and we stayed in April. Would really help if there was a fan provided to help with the heat. Only one small window as well so made it feel a little claustrophobic. I wouldn’t recommend staying here in the summer unless they can provide fans

Couldn't get into the apartment, had to get a refund . Owner canceled our booking because we were half an hour late. When we arrived we couldn't access the floor as we didn't have a card for the lift, both key cards were locked in the room ( the room was on the 2nd floor ). Booking.com couldn't contact the owner. We were mucked around for 3hours so we had to find alternative accommodation. Booking.com were great trying to help us and the full amount was refunded quickly.

Great central location. Clean and tidy. Easy to follow instructions for arrival and departure.

Extremely hot on a sunny day even with air conditioner switched on.

The apartment was clean and new. Furnishings were nice, though things like towels and duvets were thin. Location to the CBD was good.

Bring an eye cover, ear plugs and a sense of humour if you decide to stay here. The blinds let in ‘organic light,’ as the listing states, but what that means is that it never gets dark inside because it is right next to a parking garage, which is lit up all night. Below the apartment is a pub, which even on a Wednesday night had loud music, though only until 10. We had a check in window of 1 hour only. I asked if there was a place we could drop a bag for 30 minutes before check-in and was told to wait in McDonalds across the road and get a cold beverage. When we arrived to the property, it was about 28 degrees inside because there is only one window that opens, and it was a beautiful, sunny day. When I asked if there was as air con, I was told that I was hot because I had rushed to make check-in (we hadn’t rushed) and that I should have had a cold beverage across the road at McDonalds. At that point, the host also warned that it might be noisy that night, but that we should just go out and enjoy the atmosphere and take advantage of the big city. Except that’s not why we were in Wellington. Anyway, for one night, it was okay, though I definitely won’t book again.

Place is modern and simple. Bathroom was very nice with a great shower and plenty of toilet paper provided. Location was very handy as everything was walking distance. Felt secure in the apartment.

Stayed a few weeks ago in the summer and apartment got very hot. Has no A/C and no sort of fan provided, only a ventilation system which doesn't/isn't for cooling the apartment. Could only keep the blinds down 24/7 to avoid direct sunlight. The cleanliness of the apartment left a lot to be desired as there were many hairs found in every room, especially at the foot of the table in the lounge. And a minor thing was the placement of the couch was at an awkward angle to the tv. Had to rotate the tv on the table to make it watchable from the couch.
