Belle Aire Motel - Downtown Convention Center - Gatlinburg

A good location can walk to downtown Gatlinburg, a pancake house across the street.

No one is in the office, it's closed down. You must go through a "sister" motel to check in & get any help or essentials you need during your stay.

The price and location were great.

The 3x flat small pillows were definitely insufficient. Walls paper thin. I think some of the previous comments about the motel being 'tired' or outdated appearance are a bit precious. It's really great value for money. The only thing I'd change or hope they'd consider fixing to make it great was honestly the pillows. We had a king size bed and there was 3x baby pillows. They were small and so thin. It made my neck hurt so much and something very simple as suitable 2x king pillows for for a king size bed (4x would be better and perhaps more appropriate) would honestly of made the world of difference.

Couldn't beat the location and price.

Took the hot water in the shower about 30 minutes to get hot

No staff there and I was charged for a night I didn't stay

Located near the town and next door to the Log Cabin Pancake restaurant. Room was clean with a comfortable bed. When we called to check in, the lady was very kind and checked us in early.

Although our room was good, the outside of the motel doesn't look like the pictures on Booking.com. I don't understand why the owners have let it go down. It needs some serious updating on the outside and grounds. It actually looks abandoned. We were the only ones in the whole place. It felt a little strange with no one but us there......not even staff on the property. With a little work it could be an outstanding motel again.
