This is not a hotel- it’s a room in a private home. Warm clean and comfortable. Shared family bathroom and access to the kitchen. Convenient location.

The property was in a council estate The bedroom was cluttered, desperately needed refurbished could also do with some decent pillows Did not stay found another place to go to so complete waste of money

Host Edwin was courteous, erudite and welcoming; I can wholeheartedly recommend staying as a guest. Moreover the bookshelf in my room was a treasure trove in its own right. There was also an excellent view of the bay from my room. Whitby itself is an aesthetically enchanting small town, replete with layers of History and distractions for the senses.

Reasonably situated for the town centre and easy to get to, within walking distance and had ample parking space available, the host was friendly enough

The property and the bedroom wasn't clean, hairs on bedsheets, bathroom dirty , floors looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in months, and did not smell nice, boiler kept coming on during the night so was quite noisy, the room was very cluttered and could do with redecorating .Cheap price but I guess you get what you pay for, but a good clean costs nothing.

Lock was broken on bedroom door . I was a female staying alone so didn't feel safe. I only stayed one night
