Casa Victoria Malecón - Adults Only

Great location a short walk (2 min) to the Malecon and a very lovely restaurant “Auto Frutti” just around the corner for a great breakfast. Opted for the larger room which had a newly renovated bathroom and a lovely shared sitting deck off the bedroom. Actually there were two rooms, the first we used for our clothes and luggage which also had a small refrigerator for your drinks.

As noted in the description by the host, there is quite a bit of traffic noise however, my “Loop Quiet” ear plugs worked perfectly. Had some trouble with the remote control for the AC which was most likely a battery issue. The AC did work well.

A perfect oasis in the heart of a beautiful city. It has been converted into a guest house from an old generational home, so it has a great story, character, and is tastefully decorated. The owner Sebastian is very hospitable and communicative and helpful. My fellow travelers-please don't let heavily sensationalized media sway you into thinking you should cancel your visit to PV. The city is as peaceful as ever. And for many of the hardworking people here, tourism revenue is their lifeblood. So help them persevere.

We loved the history of the property as a family home. Sebastian is a wonderful host and concierge! Rooms all open onto the pool; second floor rooms look out to pool below. Relaxing by the pool for afternoons in the sun was delightful and relaxing. Rooms are large with comfortable beds and attractive natural and minimalist aesthetic, with tile floors and stonework, and lovely bathroom and shower. A small refrigerator is provided. The property is right on a very busy 2 lane road so road noise could be an issue for the front facing rooms. The rest of the rooms do not face the street. Room entrance doors are very soundproof, so there is virtually no noise at all at night. Rooms with balconies over the street may be louder. There is a pizza place next door, a great coffee and smoothie shop around the corner, many farmacias, and many many restaurants one block away. Anything you might need is available within a couple of blocks. A basket near the pool is stocked with sunscreen and magazines.

Its location is perfect, right in the midst of many restaurants and near shops, one block from the beautiful Malecon. But… That brings with it traffic and noise, yet happily the wonderful pool waterfall drowns out noise and the rooms are soundproof. We like to pick up fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, snacks, and drinks when we travel, and while there is a small refrigerator we would love just a couple of small plates or bowls provided, along with some cutlery. As if we were having a picnic :-) We bought some at the grocery store nearby. One of our towels was frayed and seemed to have some holes… we assume that could be a washer/dryer issue, but attentive staff might want to take those towels out of rotation. (It didn’t bother us enough to request a new towel though…) It’s a bit awkward to roll up the privacy blind over the double doors to get in and out of the room, but maybe this is a temporary solution until there are curtains?

Located one short block from the Malecon this 12 room boutique hotel is beautiful converted family home that is so nice to come back to after a day of exploring

The noise of the street but that is Puerto Vallarta and it something you get used to.

We liked the location, the room size and specially the attention when checking in.
