All guests will be met at the entrance to the development by a representative of City Apartments. They will be checked in, shown the facilities of the property and shown where to park in the underground car park. Guests will be contacted prior to arrival to arrange an approximate check-in time and will be provided full contact details of who will meet you on arrival. Guests are sent extensive check-in details prior to arrival which include a code to access a lockbox which contains a key and parking fob. Guests are also prompted to provide an arrival time so we can ensure the property is available and ready for their check-in. Full contact details for our office is included on the instructions. A deposit may be required at the property.

"YORK - The Almost Perfect Staycation"

Quiet and private property. Clear key collect instructions provided. The unit i stayed, had a balcony which sits next to a small canal. Tranquillity is the word. Books and board games decked up to keep boredom at bay. Onsite carpark available. Close proximity to The Shambles, York Minister and other places of interests. Great food just round the corner too! Delicious Korean and Italian cuisines. Didn't expect York to be such a nice place to venture. Will dropby again and definitely choose to stay at City Apartments- John Walker.

The bathrooms. One bath has got only a bathtub without shower fittings. The seniors find it cumbersome to climb in/out of the bathtub and so my family of 5 had to use the other bath with shower fittings. Bt the other shower room has water drainage problem:( In addition, the tea pot and coffee cups could do some deep cleansing as they have stains in them.

Amazing location, short walk to all sights. If you stay here - go to Spark around the corner - amazing selection of food!

Everything was great. Could have done with a shower head over the bath in the main bathroom but overall it didn't affect the stay as there were only 2 of us!

"Nice clean & tidy apartment that meets basic needs"

Location is lovely and the apartment has basic essentials needed. Smart tv is good and like the open plan aspect of the apartment.

No dishwasher. No shower facility in main bathroom. Very noisy geese on the fosse. Main light bulb wasn’t very bright in second bedroom. No mirror in second bedroom. Would have been nice to have a wardrobe to hang things in the second bedroom. Door hooks on back of bedroom doors would be a bonus to hang coats, as no where to do that.

"Exceptional Apartment"

The apartment was amazing. Everything we needed for our stay. Very close to everything. Carparking was underground and gated with our own allocated parking space. Lift from the carpark to the apartment via pin code. The apartments are safe and very secure. We loved our stay at John Walker House. Thank you

There was nothing at all that we didn't like. Only one suggestion would be to have somewhere to hang coats in the hallway.
