Jacobite Lodge by The House of Danu

Nádherný dům s historií. Vracíme se opakovaně. Dům nabízí veškerý komfort včetně vířivky. Okolí je úžasné, kousek od Ruthven Barracks, kde ráno nikdo není a člověk si lokalitu může prohlédnout v klidu, případně to pozorovat přímo z vířivky.

We stayed at The Jacobite’s Lodge for one night as a group of 9 boys and honestly had an amazing experience from start to finish. The property was extremely spacious, clean, and well maintained, making it perfect for a large group getaway in the Highlands. The hot tub was definitely one of the highlights of the stay — relaxing in it at night with the Cairngorm surroundings and peaceful atmosphere made the trip even more memorable. The outdoor seating area, decking, and fireplace setup were excellent for chilling together after a long drive and exploring nearby areas. Inside, the lodge felt very cosy yet luxurious. The lounge area with comfortable sofas and fireplace created a great atmosphere for the evening, while the large vaulted kitchen and dining area were ideal for group meals and spending time together. The self-catering facilities were excellent. The kitchen was fully equipped with cooking utensils, pans, plates, cutlery, glasses, microwave, oven, fridge/freezer, kettle, and everything needed for preparing meals as a large group. It genuinely felt like a home away from home. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean, and fresh bed linen, towels, and toiletries were all provided, which made the stay hassle free. Having multiple bathrooms was also very convenient for a big group. The location was beautiful and peaceful with amazing views around Ruthven Barracks and the Highlands, while still being close to local shops and attractions. Private parking and easy check-in made everything smooth as well. Overall, this was a fantastic stay and we would definitely return again for another group trip. Highly recommended for families, friends, and anyone looking for a relaxing Highland getaway with great amenities. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 10/10

Amazing location and stunning cottage, hot tub was great for the kids - even though it was snowing! Would highly recommend the cottage.

The mezzanine bed area was cold at night but this is Scotland and with the weather this is to be expected. Heating didnt Click on until later in the morning which meant it was chilly when the kids got up but log burner in the living room made up for this.

The house was perfect for a family get together to celebrate my partners 40th. Any questions we had were quickly answered and there are great facilities in the house. The hot tub is a great addition.

The property met all our expectations. It is a good sized house and never felt crowded with 9 adults. The beds are extremely comfortable and the house was lovely and warm. The views over to Ruthven Barracks were amazing.

Nothing important. We were making a birthday cake and had to guess measurements as no scales. It turned out well.

We had plenty of space to move about, sleeping, and for food arrangements. Solid amount of storage space.

We were gutted to hear the day before we arrived that the Hot Tub which was one of the main reasons we chose this property was not there anymore. Every bathroom door didn’t lock properly. And the window in the twin bedroom bathroom is very uncomfortably positioned as it was very easy to see someone showering or using the facilities if you were in the garden

Stunning views and beautiful house

Hot was excellent. Kitchen was spot on, beds were comfortable, under floor heating. Great space for 9 people. 2 fridges & freezers. Had left things like dishwasher tablets etc
