The Turquoise Letterbox - Twin at Central

I liked the location and the way the host communicated. He was fast and helped in multiple ways- defining where the car should arrive, upgrading the room, looking at what is needed and if there are means to help, and many others. Have been wonderful. I booked for my parents, and technically, I didn't have to worry about their whereabouts as the host was guiding and helping them all the time.

It felt like going back in time and living at my grandmother's home! Very cozy but roomy bedroom and living room space in a residential building. There is a charming balcony surrounded by trees and you can enjoy birdsong in the mornings. We loved the vintage vibe with the four poster bed and retro chairs! We had access to the common kitchen area and even meals are available if requested. Someone also helped us with the luggage. The host was very friendly and helpful. He connected us to a travel guide for a food tour and also accommodated our request for a late check out. The location is very convenient to get to Park Street, Jorashanko, Victoria Memorial and also the airport. We will definitely stay here again when we travel to Kolkata!

Nothing ! But just a note that access is only by stairs so keep that in mind.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was very well maintained, clean and comfortable.The host family was extremely welcoming, kind and always ready to help whenever needed. The caretaker Rabindra da was always at our call.Their hospitality made us feel at home throughout our stay.Highly recommended for anyone looking for a pleasant and comfortable place to stay.

The location . But here too Rabindra da was waiting for us at the road side near a landmark. So we didn't face any problem locating it.

O quarto revela excepcional bom gosto, numa casa habitada por uma família muitíssimo acolhedora e atenta. Os dias aqui passados foram de verdadeiro descanso, como se estivéssemos em casa.

I had a really great stay in the Twin suite - it was the perfect place to rest after a busy trip and feel relaxed in the hectic and hot (at this time!) city of Kolkata. The room is a beautiful space which has been really thoughtfully designed and furnished, and has all the amenities you could need. It has top notch lighting too! The house managers Rabindra Da and Pushpa didi are lovely, and make a very tasty breakfast. Soumik and Dona (and family!) who own the place are warm and aware hosts who strike the balance perfectly between being available and giving privacy. I wouldn't look at staying anywhere else if I'm ever back in Kolkata!

全てが完璧です！とても広く、清潔な部屋で、ずっと居たかったです。オーナーのご夫婦やお手伝いさんの方にもとてもよくしてくださって、心地よく滞在できました。

Tutto perfetto! 
La struttura si trova vicino a un mercato, in un quartiere che mi è sembrato davvero bello e accogliente. La camera era molto spaziosa e dotata di frigorifero, un dettaglio non scontato: è stata l’unica struttura in India in cui l’ho trovato. 
Al mattino è possibile lasciare i vestiti da lavare e ritrovarli puliti la sera, gratuitamente: un servizio comodissimo. Per quanto riguarda l’accoglienza, è stato tutto magnifico. L’intera famiglia è estremamente ospitale e disponibile; ci hanno persino aiutato, una domenica pomeriggio, nella ricerca di ceramiche, facendoci sentire davvero a casa. Infine la cucina: ogni sera abbiamo cenato lì e tutto era delizioso, così come la colazione. 
Consiglio vivamente questa struttura; raccontare nel dettaglio ciò che abbiamo vissuto è il minimo per rendere giustizia all’accoglienza straordinaria che abbiamo ricevuto.

The rooms were tastefully decorated with beautiful furnishings. It was clean and well maintained. The caretaker was pleasant, helpful and well mannered.
