The Turquoise Letterbox - Twin at Central

Wir hatten ein außergewöhnlich schön gestaltetes Zimmer im 1. Obergeschoss. Das Himmelbett, Sofa und andere Möbel waren von hoher Qualität. Das Bad war sehr cool gestaltet. Es gibt in der Unterkunft verschiedene Zimmer, das was wir hatten war wirklich sehr schön! Es gab richtig gutes Frühstück- dosa und idli. Wir kamen mitten in der Nacht an und wurden von Flughafen abgeholt, und von housekeeper wärmstens empfangen. Der Gastgeber war in der Kommunikation sehr bemüht und nett.

Turquoise Letterbox feels like a home! I’ve stayed at Turquoise Letterbox twice now. The hosts are incredibly kind, understanding, and warm, truly one of the most beautiful families I’ve met. The space itself is aesthetically pleasing, peaceful, and thoughtfully curated, with a calm, artistic vibe. Having access to a kitchen was a huge plus and helped me stick to my healthy breakfast routine even while traveling. Whether you’re coming for work or rest, don’t think twice, this place is a gem.

Excellent place to stay! Very good value for money. Beautiful room with antique furniture, very tastefully decorated and comfortable. The bed frame is really beautiful. The building is in a quite back street keeping you away from what can be a very noisy city. Good breakfast and good location to explore the main sites of the city. I had a beautiful balcony and, as I was there in January (good cooler weather) I was able to sit out and enjoy it. I was only here for 2 days, had work to do, and this room was perfect, with a proper desk, beautiful furnishings and fast reliable wifi. But I leave the best till last, the host and staff! The owner was not on site but he was in contact straight away to help with arrival arrangements and I took the airpoct pickup option, which made it very easy to get to the place. His mum was onsite and the staff were very helpful professional and polite. I would highly recomend this place to stay, and will be staying when I'm in Kolkata again.

Outside areas are a bit crowded

Excellent property, great host and caretaker. The breakfast was wholesome, tasty, healthy and always served with a smile. There are almost 6-7 wifi routers ensuring internet is never an issue. The host was kind enough to extend our stay on very short notice and went out of his way to help with billing (required by me for reimbursement purpose).

The location wasn't the best as per our requirements.

It was the perfect place to stay and get engaged with India for the first time. The owner was exceptionally proactive, attentive, and focused on ensuring a great stay. The staff was very welcoming and supportive too. Turquoise Letterbox provides a unique, comfortable and cozy atmosphere despite being located in an interestingly bustling or otherwise "less homey" urban environment.
