It was truly a wonderful stay. The owner was very supportive and ensured all the guests’ needs were taken care of. The caretaker and cook, Rabindra, was exceptional.

Its like a home away from home. Comfortable place, calm & peaceful environment. Located the middle of city yet inside home one feels like completely relaxed.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The room was amazing - very spacious and clean, beautifully decorated and extremely comfortable. Breakfast was delicious (fresh and thoughtfully prepared). The owner was incredibly kind and helpful and went out of his way to make sure I had everything I needed (helping with a SIM card, food deliveries, getting cabs…). I can’t recommend this place highly enough. I felt very safe and there was even a gym on the roof! If you're looking for comfort, great service, and a truly welcoming atmosphere, this is the place to stay. I will come back!

L'host si è dimostrato incredibilmente accogliente, la cui premura si è manifestata ancor prima del nostro arrivo. Già dalle prime comunicazioni, abbiamo percepito una disponibilità genuina e un'attenzione al dettaglio che ci hanno rassicurato fin da subito. Una volta arrivati, la sua accoglienza è stata calorosa e alla mano, facendoci sentire a nostro agio come se fossimo in visita da un vecchio amico. Un ringraziamento speciale va anche al personale che ogni mattina preparava la colazione: la loro gentilezza e i sorrisi sinceri ci hanno fatto sentire come a casa. Ogni dettaglio era curato con attenzione, dalla qualità del cibo all'atmosfera rilassata.

Die sehr geschmackvoll und mit Liebe eingerichtete Wohneinheit, wie wir sie äusserst selten auf unserer Indienreise antrafen, in zentraler Lage sowie die super freundliche und entgegenkommende Gastgeberfamilie, die uns sehr grosszügig einen späten Check-Out ermöglichte, sind eine absolute Empfehlung!

Arrived at 2 am in the morning but safely reached the property as they made the transport arrangement. Also, the initial clarification was smooth and had good sleep. Liked the environment and cleanliness and felt safe.

We were assigned to a person to take care of our check-in even late at night.

Our stay at Turquoise Letterbox was short but truly special. Soumik and Donna are incredible hosts — warm, attentive, and full of positive energy. The property itself is a delightful blend of tradition and comfort, thoughtfully designed with a nostalgic charm that’s rare to find these days. It genuinely feels like a home away from home.The rooms are impeccably clean, well-equipped, and inviting — all your needs are anticipated and taken care of. They are also in the process of developing a terrace and common area, which I am genuinely excited to see come to life on my next visit — hopefully during Durga Puja. Don't think twice, just book this property and thank me later !!
