Lake District Woodland Pods - Winster, Bowness-on-Windermere

Great location and very reasonably priced!

Perfect for a couple with one dog. We had our own breakfast at the pod as it had good basic facilities like a microwave, cutlery, plates, toaster, kettle etc. Short drive to Lake Windemere and other towns/villages. Brown Horse pub is fantastic but be sure to book ahead! Easy access via lock box. They even left some lovely shortbread for us and treats for the dog!

Shower tray leaked a little so bathroom floor always got wet (but an easy fix!)

Parking wasn’t great. There’s separate parking for the pod users but a lot of pub users think it’s okay to park where the pod users are and take every spot.

Great location and very tidy and cosy inside.. definitely nice and warm as it was really cold outside.. so beautiful and quiet.. bed was so comfortable and had a wonderful time

The lodge was the perfect size for both me and my dog. The location couldn’t have been better—just a short distance from Windermere and other main towns. The pricing is very reasonable, especially for such a modern lodge in such a great area. Parking was also spot on, which made everything even more convenient. I’ve already rebooked for June ☺️

Pod was looked after and clean. Very cosy and heated up nicely! Good shower with lots of space. Bed was very comfy:) would stay again :)

Sad it didn’t have a hob as we stayed for 3 nights and would of liked to cook one night. Also white bedding had black marks on it.

The lodges were spacious, cosy and comfortable. Being able to take our dogs with us with even better! The pub was lovely and friendly staff there

Nothing to complain about the property. Just check out seemed a little early and we felt rushed leaving

Perfect if you want a peaceful, relaxing night away. The pub on site also do delicious food. The pod was clean and welcoming and had everything you could need
