GENSING LODGE STUNNING SEASIDE MAISONETTE

We loved the decor, space and comfort. It should be the perfect place for us as we were near family that live in St Leonards and we will want to go frequently.

The wifi failed on day two and was not fixed so we couldn't access the TV or use our computers. The oven kept shorting out mid cooking and the dishwasher wouldn't work. Non of these things were sorted despite promises to send someone. Be aware! The whole street is permit only parking except for two hours per day. There is free parking in nearby streets but it is very crowded with cars. It must be a nightmare in high season. A partial refund has been offered and a discount on a future stay but we would rather have not had the problems in the first place.

Smelt of smoke from next door flat. Parking was not easy and was mainly residents parking.

This isn't a complaint, just clearer info for future guests. There are parking restrictions outside the apartment between 9am + 6pm Mon-Fri. Permit parking or 2hrs free between these hours. We overstayed the free period and didn't get fined but took the chance!

The art! Is everywhere and so interesting- such a talking point in this beautiful maisonette.

There are a lot of stairs, so bear in mind... especially 2 flights between bathroom and bedrooms.

Beautiful, very clean nice home, It had everything we needed, bath stuff, cleaning stuff, warm cosy It was super clean Very close to the beach all walking distance, 20 minutes walk into the main strip,

The area is a little derelict it is quiet I'd say the 10 minute radius of the home there is lots of dog poo on the floor down the streets, few drunkens and weirdos lurking about. But that's nothing to do with the house it's self, the house is beautiful and It's only 20 minutes walk into the main Hastings areas and this is were it's lovely and nice 🙂

Left over fruit in the fruit bowl was left there rotten No fans as it was extremely hot. I dont mind taking my own but would of been easier to have them there or told in advance that they dont have any They do say there is public parking however i had to circle around for quite sometime before getting a space. 90% of the parking is residential

We absolutely loved the property, light, airy, spacious. We loved all the art on the walls, and the decor in each room was fabulous. The kitchen was well equipped and plenty of room for the 5 of us to sit and eat. The bedrooms were all perfect and the beds comfy. As the property is a maisonette I was a little worried about taking the dog. But there is a park 2 minutes walk away. The property were so quick to respond to messages and were really helpful when our paddle boarding lesson changed times and we forgot my sons Ellie that he sleeps with, it was sent back straight away. My children are 18,14,and 8 so it can be hard to please everyone but Hastings ticked all the boxes, the girls loved finding a primark and a Pandora, my son loved the skate park and the arcades and everyone loved the true crime museum and the eclectic restaurants and shops. We also found some fabulous beaches and went paddle boarding for the first time. Will definitely be returning
