"A convenient, comfortable, quiet dog friendly location in Ilkeston."

Convenient location for visiting two local disabled old friends and easy to find. Spacious and immaculate. Dog friendly enclosed garden and an open space at the end of the road for walks. A few minutes drive to an excellent Morrisons. Very clear instructions about security heating, access etc. At the bottom of the garden and very quiet, no traffic or other noise. Parking on the road was easy and felt reasonably safe. The bed was very comfortable. And I loved the xmas tree.

Sadly I didn't meet the host. Rather sparsely equipped with cooking facilities, no cleaning materials nor waste bags and only one tea towel. (I left suggestions for a few things that would make life easier for little outlay). A welcome pack of a few basics - tea, coffee, milk - would have made me comfortable. The steps were a struggle as it is quite a hike from road to door. But I did have 10 days worth of bags, cool box, laptop etc. Anyone more diasbled than myself would find it hard - this is not a criticism but needs noting.

The Annex was very comfortable and well equiped. The host was very friendly and responded quickly providing all the necessary information for our stay.

I stay here when I come up to Ilkeston to work. Its always impeccably clean, tidy and cosy. Its got everything I need.

On the road parking which isn't really problem as its a residential street, and I've never had problems parking.
