Very good breakfast , lovely old pub

Room was quite basic

If you like old fashioned and quirky, this is a must! The staff were so welcoming and friendly. The food was fantastic, we had their dippy eggs for breakfast 😋 it was great. The room we had ( the nook ) was so comfy, clean and well presented. Definitely staying here again ..

Quaint and quirky, fairly quiet. Breakfast was good.

Dinner wasn’t that good. Room was tight no where to put suitcases and no counter space in bathroom. Not very well insulated, could hear neighbours. TV too small. Too many noisy dogs allowed in pub.

I booked this for my son and his girlfriend as a birthday gift well I was very disappointed to hear the bad experience they had. The room I booked was not the room they were put in but I still paid the same price even though it was a lot smaller than the room I paid for. My son originally was not going to stay as he was so disappointed and the staff weren't very helpful when they showed the booking confirmation. I had phined in the afternoon and booked a table for an evening meal which i was going to phone and pay by card for the meal once my son and his girlfriend had ordered their meals I phoned to say how disappointed I was after I heard from my son and his girlfriend and was told the disappointing news I did phone and I also said the meal they will be having should be included as they have been put in a smaller room than the one booked but they charged my sons girlfriend for the meals and I didn't get any refund on the room. I certainly would not book here again my son and his girlfriend would not recommend this to anyone

My son and his girlfriend didn't have a very good experience they had a smaller room than what was booked there wasn't a view as it was stated the only view they had was very over grown bramble bushes. They found the staff weren't very helpful either

Location and facilities were excellent.

The mattress was uncomfortable, but everything else was amazing!

Food and staff were lovely

WiFi and tv signal was poor

Quiet location in spread out hamlet. Nice pub with rooms at the back. Food very good.

Greeted by a very wonderful landlady and was very interested in our travels and gave us knowledge of the area near and far - she was so kind 😊 The accommodation was private and extremely comfortable and homely . Ordered scrummy food in the evening which was very tasty . Breakfast was fantastic and locally sourced- all our needs were met by incredible host and her lovely daughters who were working so hard for us and all - we will deffo be back soon - thanks all so much - we loved it Jo and Rob Haddow xxx😊❤️

Leuke pub op mooie locatie, kamer ok

-geen wifi op de kamer -kraan in badkamer bleef druppelen en maakte af en toe een storend geluid -vriendelijk personeel maar niet actief. Druk met andere zaken.
