Friendly and helpful staff, clean and tidy rooms, private parking for my motorcycle, lots of handy hooks and electrical plugs, centre of town, great location for the Brecon Beacons.

Beds were a bit hard but that might just be me.

We were touring West Wales by motorcycle and stayed for two nights. The location, accommodation and facilities were excellent and the steak night especially good value. All round an enjoyable stay and good value for money.

Unfortunately, some of the staff seemed indifferent and disinterested. There was definitely no sense of ‘Welcome’. Perhaps a little more management oversight and staff training required ?

The bed very comfortable and shower great.Staff very helpful and we’re happy to answer our questions. The live music on Saturday night was brilliant a very good end to our holiday. We traveled around sout wales.

Moving around a little uncomfortable, beams low in bedroom and shower. No bedside lamps.

Lovely old building, lots of character. The bed was really comfy. Had to leave before breakfast, unfortunately, so can't comment on that.

Booked this one as it said parking with no reservation needed but no space at all (including cars double parked) when we arrived so had to park elsewhere. Shower curtain really moldy around the bottom as it sits in the water in the little bathtub so doesn't dry properly. Musician was playing in the pub when we arrived. Our room was directly above, so it was very noisy. Luckily this finished at about 11pm then it was very quiet.

EVERYTHING! Had a beautifully cooked steak. Reasonably priced. Room was lovely Whole place was decorated with style. Highly recommend.

the room had a noisey fan below it. Also it wasnt the bedroom pictured when we booked the room
