Casa Mercedes - Deluxe Apartments in Casco Viejo

The apartments are centrally located in the old city and within east walking distance of everything. The bedrooms are comfortable and the area safe.

It can get a bit noisy at times with the partygoers at night. Vehicle horns and traffic but the bedroom is well insulated from that. What was annoying though was some equipment in a room in the open courtyard which you could hear in the bedroom and kept me awake most nights. Fix that and it would be almost perfect.

Really good location just off the park and Avenida Central. Within easy walking distance to shops groceries, restaurants and nightlife. The apartment is quite comfortable and spacious.

We were on the third floor and the stairs were a real pain especially when moving luggage. Parking is a real problem close to the apartment building, but the host does spell this out early, but something to be aware of. Oh, I think that the AC may be dripping on the sofa, it does not smell right and the lights in the hob over the stove do not work.

The apartment has everything you need! And it was very comfortable for the 4 of us.

I am confused about the location because it is really close to the casco viejo (old city center) and in front you have a beautiful small park and restaurants and supermarket are close to but also the hotel is close to a popular neighbourhood which we were advised not to go. In the corner there is a noise and busy night club so better if you take earplugs with you

It is clean and nice

A lot of noice during the night. You can not sleep for a min from 12 to 4 impossible to rest

Rather noisy on the weekend given the street life.

Location, easy access to market/restaurant/bus/tour

Not well insulated/noisy until 3am. Uncontrollable AC units. Balcony door unlock able. Internet router disconnect, host is not from local but off site somewhere. Casa Mercedes is having no name tag nor location in Google map but references by business locations around such as Hotel Caracas and Masa Santa Ana.

Everthing was perfsct. Its very close to the attractions, restorants and bars. I really recommend this apartment.

Just a bit loud during night

The Christmas decorations were still up in the square I looked down on, it was beautiful! The Italian restaurant next door was fabulous and helpful. Extra towels, pillows and ice already in the freezer!

A little booklet of the restaurants around that area and places the Owner recommends with directions is always a nice personal touch, but honestly I was pleased with everything!
