Nice and clean

Shortage of parking and unfriendly staff on booking. I had called to advise we’d like food and I was “grilled” that I hadn’t called, when I had to check we could still eat before restaurant closed. Even after giving the correct telephone number I called they don’t believe me .

Friendly staff, very comfortable room with excellent bathroom. great choice of breakfasts, with plenty of gluten free options. The pub was very welcoming with plenty of food choices, and great offers on most weekdays, even a quiz night on Wednesday. Really enjoyed our stay

The only thing missing was they didn't serve Guiness, although there was an alternative stout available
