Great established beautiful hotel and location. Choice of pools. Jacuzzi. Sauna. Massage. Indoor pool. Great food and staff. Spotlessly clean. Great location in funchal. Beautiful gardens.

No tea or coffee or water provided complimentary in room. No shaving mirror in bathroom tricky sorting contacts in eyes a doing make up. Phone by bed didnt work.

"A comfortable stay"

Comfortable room, lovely pools, nice food and entertainment (I loved the folklore dancers), polite staff, car parks available, good location. No nonsense with reserved sun loungers by the pool in the mornings. You could always find some available and the staff would come and adjust the umbrella for you.

They charged extra for water at dinner - we paid for breakfast and dinner option, so such a basic thing as water should have been included.

"Nice hotel, lovely rooms and facilities but food wasn’t good at all"

Nice hotel in a good location, nice swimming pools, really great size room

The food wasn’t great at all, warm milk, things were always a little bit stale and really strange choices, bean sprouts and vegetables at breakfast!! Not a great choice in the evenings and children weren’t catered for at all, we had paid for half board and ended up eating out every night!!

We had a lovely 1 night stay here with half pension and a lot of support from Fransisco Coelho with guidance not only about hotel but also what to do in madeira on that day.

Indoor pool is cold, jacuzzi wasn’t on and had no bubbles. In general indoor facility is old
