Hotel Gallo de Mar

Amazing location right around the corner from the beach where you can surf, tucked away enough from the busy main street. Lovely pool surrounded by lots of greenery in the shade (much appreciated as it was super hot). The staff were helpful, the bed was comfortable, and the shower was great. We loved the filter coffee in the communal kitchen too. I’d definitely stay here again!

Very close to La Punta beach and all the nice places. The people were very friendly and willing to help! Also nice that we could shower before going into the nightbus.

The bed was quite old and very short - but we are quite tall ;)

Great location to surf beaches and easy to walk to local cafes and restaurants. Loved that the hotel is smaller so there was plenty of room around the pool to relax. Staff were awesome and very helpful in booking us a taxi for mazunte.

Bugs- reminder we are in coastal Mexico so this is likely normal. We also didn’t have any hot water the whole time. We were prepared for this by reading previous reviews but if that’s a must have then maybe don’t book here.

The staff is really friendly and willing to help. The facilities are small but comfortable enough. Clean place and quiet enough to be in the very tip of La Punta.

The bathroom inside the room was a little smelly. Other than that, everything was great.

The garden and location were great. Just 1 minute away from the hectic tourist, traffic and music.
