There were so many unfinished aspects, kitchen ceiling half painted, cupboard door hanging off, ceiling lights in the living hanging off, overwhelming smell of bleach,

Location and having two bedrooms

Nothing

Very poor condition. Beds hard, light bulbs missing, cracked bedside lamp, no TV aerial, kitchen cupboards covered in cracked laminate, worktop cracked, filthy doors and skirting boards, no light shades in lounge and wires hanging down, drill holes in walls. Needs a thorough overhaul and clean.

Had everything we needed for a basic stay

I didn’t like not being able to lock balcony door however it’s one first floor and was assured by owners that the area is safe and quiet

It was awful.

You cannot lock flat’s door. I told the staff but they didn’t notice me. Some of windows were not adjusted, so rooms were cold. Also, the owner didn’t refund my deposit after 72 hours after check out and I had to follow up several times. Of course they finally gave back my money but wasted my time!

This is not a high end luxury far from that. Honestly, the agency managing this, had a very bad idea to propose an Airbnb within a such quiet « dead » area to the point we felt that with any noise we would break rules. We also didn’t like the multiple warning/threat to keep the deposit if there was any complain from the neighbourhood and even before getting into the property. Doesn’t make you feel confortable as such

We only spend few hours in this flat yet the owner retained 5£ out of the deposit for so called cleaning fees which is no where mentioned before booking. We also didn’t feel welcome due to multiple reminder from the agency - no noise warning, deposit will be kept if any damage even though the property look old, complain from neighbourhood = deposit lost. Make sure to have a car because the key collection process involve driving 6min drive away…Safety hazard in the kitchen due to plastic covered all over the kitchen worktop. Don’t put any hot pan on it!
