Large room, comfortable and clean. Shower and bath. Parking available on site but difficult to find.

Reception needs a bell - I arrived late to be fair but it took a while for a team member to return to reception and check-in.

Staff were all excellent, polite and helpful. Breakfast was excellent We had an evening meal in the restaurant and it was a very pleasant atmosphere

The room was very spacious. Great bathroom. Tea & coffee tray was excellent. Great size Tv. Dogs able to go into the restaurant for evening meal. Gluten free for breakfast was Good. Free parking Got dog bowls and free treats

The vegetarian breakfast was small. One mushroom. One sausage.a few beans. ( not worth the money) The lunch menu for Gf.. not value for money ( sandwich was tiny) Evening meal ( sunday) was small. No option for extra veg when no GF options available. Waiter told me there was no yeast in the sausage..!!! ( I needed gluten free) The bathroom had a little mould.

The hotel has a very comfortable feel, it's our second stay, and certainly will not be our last

I visited with my granddaughter for a two night stay. I am disabled and the lady on reception was so helpful. She went above and beyond to help us. Carried my luggage upstairs and generally nothing was too much trouble. We were able to leave our luggage until later in the day. Our accommodation was located on the first floor with plenty of banisters. The room was a little tired but had everything we needed and was spotless. Plenty of plug sockets for phone chargers etc. We really enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

We couldn't open the window and although we turned off the heating it was still hot. There was loud music coming from somewhere and a lot of noise from outside. The hotel can't be held to account for that.

Very homely and welcoming traditional hotel with excellent food.

In my single room heating pipes were running along skirting board and I couldn’t turn them off so slept with both windows open which was fine as 8 degrees overnight but if warmer the room temperature would be intolerable.
