Kawaha on the Lake

Nice location with a private access to the lake and a home like stay. Barbecue pit and fireplace was so cozy. The customer service was great, replied promptly to all my inquiries. Check in and check out was easy breezy. The view of the lake was perfect!

The upstairs bathroom was a jacuzzi tub without an overhead shower, maybe its just culture differences but it was a little inconvenient for the occupants upstairs to shower.

The house was so warm and great view. Great holiday house for us.

The location was terrific, great view over the lake and a short distance to the activities. There was lots of space for everyone in our group. It is a typical Lockwood house, which is sturdy and cool. However ....

It was musty with stain marks on carpets and lounge furniture. Cobwebs everywhere and a general feeling of damp and dirty. It was twice the price than anything else we have stayed in. And not value for money.

Location, and the lake. Access to the lake, lake views. I liked the birds being around the tui, the kereru. We were hidden away but not far from town.

This property was perfect for our large group of people, highly recommend. Clean, comfortable and handy location. Amazing views felt like home.

The spa did not work

Beautiful setting, spacious, comfortable beds and lounge area. Well set up, lots of cooking utensils, needed a few more wine glasses! Grocery store over the road very handy.

Security was a bit soft. Windows not secure. A couple of lights did not work. There was an outside camera which we were not told about.
