Wie bereits beim ersten Besuch haben wir uns wieder sehr wohl gefühlt. Eine tolle Unterkunft in einer außergewöhnlich schönen Umgebung. Stu ist ein toller und zuvorkommender Gastgeber. In der Unterkunft fehlt es an nichts und das Frühstück ist liebevoll bereitet und sehr reichhaltig. Kurz gesagt: Ankommen und Wohlfühlen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen!

This property is in an exceptionally relaxing location. It was wonderful to hear the birdsong. Provisions are made available for a very satisfying continental breakfast, including fresh pastries each morning. Milk, water, fruit juice and yogurts were ready in our fridge. Ground coffee and cafetiere are provided along with teas. If you like listening to vinyl records bring your favourites to play! We visited Taunton and Hestercombe House and gardens.

Everything met or exceeded our expectations.

What isn't to like? Large spacious living area consisting of bedroom/ lounge and dining area that is spotlessly clean- probably the cleanest private accommodation we have ever stayed in- easily on a par with any 4* + hotel!!! The bed is lovely and comfortable with good quality pillows and a duvet that you wrap yourself in and simply drift off. The breakfast selection was brilliant- several cereal options, yoghurt, fresh fruit and pastries, not to mention fresh bread and a selection of jams, spreads and marmalade. The large bathroom with a double walk-in shower is as beautifully and tastefully decorated as the rest of the accommodation. The view of pheasants on the lawn and a buzzard in the trees at the side and back of the property were the icing on this absolutely delightful room. Unfortunately we only saw Stu briefly but a lovely, warm host who made sure we had everything we needed including fresh flowers and local made stollen cake for us! We are looking to book shortly again and for a longer stay- 2 nights is not nearly enough time at this absolute treasure of a B&B.

Beautiful quaint and very well thought out space, excellent communication from stu and the most comfortable bed! Breakfast was super lovely too! Really appreciated the little messages on the blackboard, they really have thought of everything. Value for money is insane! ❤️❤️❤️

Stu is a fantastic host - nice to be personally welcomed back. The breakfast always goes above and beyond, I must know where you get that rhubard and ginger jam from because its the best spread I've ever had. The bed is so comfortable - it has us thinking we need to upgrade our one at home! The peace and quiet is perfect for a relaxing weekend away.

Nothing - we had a car so we were fine location wise, just recommend caution on the country roads
