La Torretta - Authentic Historic House with Panoramic Sea-View Terrace in Otranto Old Town - Marea Stays Collection

The house is situated in the heart of old city of Otranto, close to the sea, bars, restaurants and nice small shops. You can see the sea from the roof, where you can relax, drink coffee or just enjoy the view. It's separate house with 3 floors. I traveled with my dogs, so it was very comfortable to stay here. It's possible to walk with them near the castle, 2 minutes away. It's also possible to park the car near the port or in free parking nearby, 7 minutes walk from the house. It's possible to order parking near the house, but the streets are very small and there are always many people there. The house is very clean, beautiful and stylish, I really love it.

We had a wonderful stay at an apartment in Otranto with my two kids. The space was clean, well-maintained, and featured a lovely interior that made us feel living in traditional Italian house. The highlight was the rooftop, offering breathtaking views of the sea and the old town—perfect for relaxing or enjoying family time. Highly recommended for families looking for comfort and stunning scenery!

A perfect location in Otranto. The home is like a historical palace. It is huge! The beds were extremely comfortable and the rooms were quiet even though we were downtown. The rooftop is spectacular for evening cocktails overlooking the sea. There are lots of stairs in the house but we enjoyed giving our fitness trackers a challenge. We loved swimming at the Otranto beach everyday - only a 5 minute walk from the home. The communication with our host was excellent.

For such a large home, it seemed strange to have only one shower. There were only 3 of us, so it was not a problem.

Location was amazing, apartment had all that was needed for self catering. Very good air-conditioning!

Some difficulties with the WiFi connection

Great location , great house

Extremely dangerous water leak from the loud air conditioner that was continually leaking in the entrance of the bathrooms , this is a major fall accident waiting to happen and I don’t believe the owners weren’t aware , each day we had to put down towels but it was still slippery each day

Localization exceptional close to a historic church, rooms, living rooms, kitchen and the wonderfull open roof with port view. Cleaning was excellent as well as bathrooms and all beds.

Wi-fi didn´t worked during all of our stay, even sending several messages to Gregory nobody came to fix it out. The kitchen could have more devices like a toaster and microwave oven.

We had a little problem with one of the bedroom a/c units and the WiFi only being available in one room, but overall it was a great property.
