It was a great apartment would love to come again but

washing machine wasn't working so I doubt my bedding and towels were clean. And hover did not work neither did the iron

"Value for money accommodation"

Spacious house for a family of 5. Great value. Working kitchen appliances.

A little run down and can be cleaned better. Broken washer, uncomfortable bed and pillows.

"Dreadful stay at house in Marsden Green"

The communication with owner was extremely poor. We only found out about where house was located 4 hours before we arrived and access code. We were not given wifi code. The second bed was not made and had dirty towels on the floor. There was washing left in the washing machine and dryer. We managed to remove the owners washing from the washing machine however as it hadn't drained, the water flooded out. We put our own washing in but couldn't get it out when it finished as didn't drain properly and lock was jammed. I contacted owner numerous times and he never sent anyone to fix it. It was a nightmare. Very unprofessional and should not be advertised on booking.com. I should definitely be repaid 50% back

"Overall poor experience."

The location, we stayed because as it was close to the airport.

The photos are heavily edited. The place was very basic and run down. Not sure if the bedding was clean. The house had an overwhelming smell of food that even after the doors were open for hours, still remained. It was very dusty I side too. Only 3 beds were made up and we weren't left any instructions for extra bedding. There was very breif communication with the host. There was half a toilet role left for 6 of us. The bins were overflowing. Not worth what we paid to stay there.

The property offered a pleasant warmth and tranquility. The grey carpets were well-maintained, and the lounge provided ample space. A large television featuring smart programming was available, along with WiFi connectivity.

After spending one night at this property, I encountered several issues that I felt compelled to bring to the landlord's attention. I requested a partial refund, and the accompanying photos will illustrate the reasons for my request. The kitchen floor was extremely dirty, as evidenced by the grime visible on a green cloth after wiping just one tile. Additionally, there was significant mould present in the bathroom, particularly around the bath and shower grout, along with a large black hair in the bath and a broken tap. The toilet was also in poor condition, featuring a large unsightly hole. The state of the bathroom was misleading compared to the promotional photographs. While the bedrooms were satisfactory and matched the images, and the property was warm, the lounge had a different coffee table than depicted. The landlord mentioned an extra fee for our small dog, which I had overlooked, but I expressed my willingness to pay this fee while seeking compensation for the various issues, including the hair, mould, broken tap, and dirty floor. The landlord implied that I only raised these concerns after he mentioned the dog, which was not accurate, as I had already stated my willingness to pay for the pet. I suggested that a simple apology and a willingness to address the issues would have prevented me from leaving a review. Despite my repeated offers to share the photos, he declined. I am not seeking to create conflict; I simply found the property lacking. While the warmth of the property and the condition of the bedroom and lounge were acceptable, I believe my rating is justified. For those who are comfortable with a dirty floor, mould, a broken tap, and a damaged toilet, this may be suitable, but I have high standards based on my extensive travel experience for work. A gesture of kindness and an apology would have made a significant difference.
