Static Caravan on Lady's Mile Holiday Park

As a family the location was perfect, the host was responsive and handled all or questions promptly. The site had all necessities and the kids enjoyed the swimming.

The onsite bar had lots of cordoned areas due to damage and could do with modernising

I have stayed at Lady's Mile several times before and have always been pleased.. this was the first time I booked a 'private accommodation' through Booking.com.... sorry, but I have to say I will never do it again. I found the accommodation not particularly clean.. thick dust/grease in places (TVs/fire/kitchen floor) and the cooker didn't work well either; only one shelf!! .. insufficient cooking utensils/dishes etc... although loads of diner plates!! Just being honest...

The caravan is located practically on the main 60mph road so can hear some traffic throughout the night. If a lorry goes past the caravan shakes. Unfortunately we arrived about midnight, this is on us, not the host, but it was frustrating and disappointing to find out the host had given us the wrong key code to get into the caravan. Luckily, the host hadn't gone to bed yet, so we were able to access the van after around 30 mins, making a long journey more stressful. The shower is really poor and leaks. Really would do with renewing. There is a large crack running down one of the windows. It didn't matter to us as we were only there for a weekend but the 'freezer' is simply a top box in the fridge. Worth noting for any families staying for longer than a few days. The caravan is advertised as heated which it is. The message we got tells you where to find the thermostat however doesn't tell you how to turn the thing on (switch to side of boiler) as we already had a delay getting into the caravan on our 1st night, it was frustrating to then have to spend precious time i wanted to be sleeping trying to warm the caravan through. Warning to anyone going during 'wet/damp months . . The decking is tretrious ! Very slippy so please be careful.

Excellent caravan and really nice hosts! Great value for money and will definitely be booking with them again

The caravan was lovely and wider than we expected. Beds were comfortable and it had everything we needed. The owner had very kindly gone out of her way to put up 18th birthday banners and balloons for our daughter. The weekend away was a surprise for her birthday and she loved it.

Found some underwear and a pair of shorts in a bedroom drawer but things can easily be overlooked. This didn't affect our enjoyment of the weekend at all.

The boiler was not working well we had to seek help from the staff but it still kept going off. Contacted the owner who was helpful but we did have to keep playing with the boiler to get it to work. It was a pressure issue. The caravan was not as clean as it could be.
