Static Caravan on Lady's Mile Holiday Park

Boiler not working on arrival.l (tue) Fixed by park maintenance . After day out out Wednesday boiler not working again so no heating or hot water wed pm and Thurs am. Decking extremely slippery , one of our party slipped And fell down steps

We are not reviewing the caravan as we did not stay there. As we arrived we were greeted by dancers and loud music due to there being a planned 90s weekend which was extremely loud and busy. We were not informed of this by the owner of this caravan and we were told we could not use the site facilities (restaurant, shop and pool) unless we paid an extra £100. We had booked a quiet weekend away due to us having a family bereavement and feel very let down by the caravan owner. We contacted the caravan owner regarding this and she told us it was not her responsibility to inform us that the site was closed for a 90s weekend. We were very upset by this and her attitude toward us and it ruined our weekend. We asked for a refund or partial refund as we feel we were missold the holiday, yet was told no by the owner as we could still stay in the van but not would not be able to use any of the site facilities. However the staff on the site couldn't be more helpful and apologetic as they said the owner of the caravan should have informed us. We will not be booking caravans independently in future and book only through the site or reputable booking sites.

Lovely location. Cannot comment on food as did not eat there.

Nothing to dislike.

The main bed was comfy. That’s the only thing it had going for it.

It was absolutely disgusting. We were unable to sit on the sofa as it was too dirty and wet so had to put the clean bedding from the kids room on the sofa to sit down. There was wee all over the toilet, the sinks had not been cleaned with old spit around sink from last person’s stay. There was blood on the toilet door and nothing had been cleaned or wiped.

Van not as clean as it could have been, toilets dirty, shelf I'n bedroom thick in dust, bedding not ironed, broken window. outside area in need of updating , no sleep due to van next to main road.some facilities not open on site, barriers not always working had to get security to let us out.
